She describes the soul as an ocean, and our human experience as an ice cube floating within it. When we die, the ice cube melts back into the ocean, becoming one with the vast, infinite body of water. “Where did it go? It didn’t go anywhere. It simply merged and blended back into that which it already was,” she explains. This visualization helps us grasp the idea that our soul is eternal, always present, and connected to the greater whole.

The notion of heaven and hell, as Lee Carroll points out, is a simplistic interpretation of the soul’s journey.
