All good things come to an end and this time we come back to a place to finish what we started back in February.

In the UK this sort of park up would be unusual, but not in France. At Camping Des Cygnes there is both an aire, and right next door a campsite. What makes it quite unique is you are allowed to use the campsite facilities when staying on the aire but on this occasion we opted for a pitch as we wanted to be sure we had a park up close to Le Shuttle in Calais.

The pitch we had was ideal for our van, lovely and spacious. But what we were really interested in was visiting the historic city of Amiens. A short 25 minute bike ride along the River Somme and we were in. There is a lot to see in the city, we had a wander around and visited the largest cathedral in the whole of France before checking out Jules Vernes House.

Back at the campsite Kelly has another unusual encounter with her MiRider Bike – she swears it is haunted. What do you reckon?

This was a lovely last stop in France, and we can’t believe it has come to an end. If you want to watch the whole series we have a playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnQAeR30Y1dkvft5ZuY6XcsznPzx_R7bI

Thanks a lot for watching, we hope you’ve enjoyed the travel vlog. Until the next time safe travels

    1. Top adventures! With the waste question, I try and use site washing up facilities where possible but have a collapsible bucket to empty bit by bit if the waste gets too full by using our own sink. We hope for drive over points but not all have them in the UK.
