Bicycle Touring Spain Day 1 – Flying with my bike in a CTC bag to Barcelona
Packed my bike in a CTC bike bag, and flew down to Barcelona Spain for a one week tour of Catalonia. Was met with by a thunderstorm when I arrived at the airport, and had to cycle 15 km from the airport to Barcelona in heavy downpour.
Hi Mikael, how easy was it to find the bike lane from the airport terminal? Is the bike lane available immediately at the terminal or how many km out of it? I'm trying to figure out how it will be for us when we bike out this summer. Thanks for your answer.
Can I ask you, when taking a bicycle in a plain, are there extra costs and if so, are those cost high? O stupid me, now I read someone else already ask the question. I am not smart in this case. I still leave the comment so people can see how stupid I am 😊
After cycling from UK to Greece Crete I just threw my bike on the plane from Crete to London without no bag no booking no problems but even though I never had any punctures the whole ride 4300 km the airline let my tyres down and on arrival in London my pump never worked to get the tyres up. Other than scratching the bike what other purpose is that clear plastic bag?
