I recently purchased the 2024 Ultimate (link) and began noticing creaking after about 500 or so miles. At first I thought it was the bottom bracket but I experimented a bit and realized the creaking only occurred when I was seated. Through some more riding, I noticed that the creaking primarily happens when I move laterally while seated on the bike (like moving my hips left or right).
After some research, it seems this was a common problem with the 2023 Ultimate, so I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this with the new 2024 model and has a solution.
I have the clamp screwed in at 5 NM and double checked my saddle clamp to make sure it's torqued to spec as well. I've also tried taking the seat post out, and cleaning both the seat post and inside of the seat tube very thoroughly before reapplying the carbon assembly paste that came with the bike both on the seat post and a thin layer inside the seat post tube, but still no luck.
