While changing tires I noticed these cracks on the wheel. The spockes and the wheel fells solid but I was wandering if it's safe to ride by muccapazza Bicycling Bike Bike Repair Biking Cycling Repair
muccapazza on September 13, 2024 1:54 pm There are a few of them. I wold say about 1/4 of all spokes. Only on the back tire. The tire IS NOT carbon
DeadBy2050 on September 13, 2024 2:00 pm Your rim is dead, which means your wheel is dead. In theory, you could replace just the rim, but that’s not cost effective.
miklayn on September 13, 2024 2:03 pm Spokes* Do not ride this wheel, as the rim integrity is compromised and it could break catastrophically while riding, causing injury.
stupid_cat_face on September 13, 2024 2:05 pm You will need a new wheel. I’ve had to do this same thing a few times.
