My 1” forked Affinity Lo Pro has got some mean toe overlap and even pedal strike to the tire. This is the stock Affinity Lo Pro fork before they changed to 1 1/8”. Anyone have recs for forks both threadless and or threaded (maybe I try some threaded stems out). Or any other solutions are welcome. I’m used to it but it gets annoying after a while

    1. I’m sorry I can’t help you, but I love that bike so much, it’s my dream frame. It’s beautiful

    2. You’re going to have to be careful not to mess with the geometry too much if you swap out the fork.

    3. The headtube angle and rake are already at a high level probability best if you just get used to it, any more and it’ll be very sluggish steering

    4. Do you know the rake for the stock fork? When looking for replacements I wouldn’t try to change it too aggressively. The handling will get goofy and it’ll throw the geo off considerably. AFAIK track rake is typically 35mm but some track specific forks can go 38 or 40. More than 40mm is closer to road rake and can change the handling quite a bit.

It’s unfortunate but that’s kinda how that bike is especially on smaller sizes. A friend of mine owned one for years and got used to mostly leaning to turn.😂 What length crank arms are you running? 170->165 might help a bit.
