  1. This just happened hours ago:
Lael Wilcox is back in Chicago after riding around the world
    for 108 days, averaging 11.7 km/h (281 km/d) including breaks.
With this monster ride, if accepted by the Guinnes folks, she improved
on Jenny Graham’s 2018 women’s record by more than two weeks.

In awe. Got to ride a few miles with her along the route. I thanked Rue for her work as well!

  3. She is an absolute machine and this is an incredible achievement!

I find the route to be super interesting and not at all what I would have thought of as ‘around the world’.

Anyone have any insight on how it was decided?

  4. Fellow Alaskan here. Was able to join Leal on a section of her ride when she got back to Alaska from NZ. We are so proud of her accomplishments, Lael is an absolute superstar and inspiration to us here!
