Welcome to the outdoors at GO York! We celebrated the opening of GO Outdoors York with an official grand opening event on 7th & 8th September. Here are some top highlights!
This record-breaking store boasts an astounding 125,000sq ft of space with over 380 brands covering walking, camping & caravanning, watersports, running, fishing, horse riding, climbing, and cycling.
The store has more than uniquely 30 branded areas to browse, including a specialist Mountain area, the biggest Yeti store in Europe, a new Garmin store with the most extensive range on display in the UK, and an interactive maps concept from Ordnance Survey. Also present is the first ever Adidas Terrex concession in the UK, as well as Stanley’s largest store in Europe with the biggest range of products available and the biggest World of Weber concession with more than 30 grills on display. Camping fans will be in heaven to discover the huge tent field showcasing over 60 tents for everything from festivals and family holidays to alpine adventures.
GO York is also home to a White Stores outdoor furniture store and display, Leisure Lakes latest cycling concept store, the first Tiso store outside Scotland and the UK’s first Jessops discovery store. On the ground floor you can find the Alpine Café for drinks and light bites, with a new concept Alpine Restaurant opening upstairs in the Autumn where customers can enjoy fresh meals made with locally sourced produce.
A new concept Kudos Running department offers free gait analysis to aid with accurate shoe selection, and a wide range of popular road and trail running products from the biggest running brands such as Adidas, Asics, New Balance, Inov8 and Altra.
