      Primoz is a great champion but he's missed the boat if he believes he has a chance against Pogi in the Tour de France. But wow, the two of them have won nine Grand Tours between them and there's no sign of a fat lady singing.

      Not even the great Eddy Merckx has won the Vuelta so many times, Roberto Heras and Primoz Roglic are the only ones who had won the Vuelta 4 times!!! Eddy Merckx only got one victory in the Vuelta because he didn't participate in the race, but in the Giro d'italia Merckx won 5 times, the same amount of victories he has won in the Tour de France!! But when we look to the 5 monuments, it's monumental what Eddy Mercks did ,Tour of Flanders- 2 wins ,Paris- Roubaix- 2 wins ,Giro di Lombardia – 3 wins ,Liège Bastogne Liège- 5 wins ,and Milano – San Remo- 7wins

      Sorry it's 3 wins at Paris- Roubaix, and 2wins at the Giro di Lombardia, even so Eddy Merckx has the total of 19 victories in the 5 monuments!! In the next 2 or 3 decades it will be almost impossible that a rider could reach 19 victories in the 5 monuments races !! Nowadays there are many more riders with the capacity to win those races, and it's very difficult for one rider to perform at a level which could give him the victory in all the 5 races, which one or two are very different from the others, for example: it will be very hard for a rider that performs very well in the climbs and ITT's ,but a rider with 65,66 kg will struggle a lot to ride with the best guys at the Paris – Roubaix race ,due to so many kms riding cobblestones roads !

      Thanks! I can't believe that on Eurosport 1 (watching in the Czech Republic) the coverage ended just after Primoz crossed the line and we had no prize presentation ceremony after following the race for 3 weeks! NOT GOOD! (so thanks for this at least!)

      Now that he has won 4 times the Vuelta and is one of the two riders who achieved 4 triumphs, the next goal will be to try to get the 5th victory in the Vuelta and become the first rider in the world to do it!! Eddy Mercks has won 5 TDF and 5 Giros but due to the fact that he only participated in the Vuelta one or two times he only had one victory in the Vuelta! Some riders in the past had won the Vuelta 3 times (Laurent Jalabert, Tony Rominger for example) ,but only Roberto Heras reached the 4th triumph, now Primoz Roglic also achieved the 4th triumph, it will be one of his main goals to get the 5th victory and stay in the history books, the first rider to win 5 times the Vuelta Espana ( and the only one).
