Maxxis are like 50/50 straight vs wobbly now in my experience. I have swapped to other brands
e/ That being said, they will warranty them if you pursue it.

Check tire to see if it is seated properly and if you’ve ridden and hit the tire riding, the bead might be shot. Happened to my last tire – straight rim, seated tire, wobbly AF tire
I just successfully warrantied a maxxis tire for this, took 2 days.

Can be due to tyre wall damage too. I’ve had a bad case of that on a conti tyre once after a sideways landing. Could see some of the reinforcing threads in the side wall had snapped.

Might be an issue with seating, so you may use soap when putting it on. However, as others suggested it could be a quality problem too.

Tire may be poorly seated.
Maxxis tires are notorious for having a wobble
Check that your tire is evenly seated on the new wheel on both sides and all the way around. You don’t want it to look like [this](https://www.parktool.com/assets/img/repairhelp/Tube-Removal-16-Seated-Low.jpg).
