A ride from Dunorlan Park, to Pembury.
Starting at the southern end of Hall’s Hole Road, Tunbridge Wells. Downhill past the entrance to Dunorlan Park lakeside car park, then up a tight road with high banked sides to cross Pembury Road (A264). Along Blackhurst Lane passing The Skinners’ Kent Academy to reach a footbridge over Hastings Road (A21) Pembury Bypass. After crossing the bridge Tonbridge Road, Pembury, leads down to Hastings Road (A21) Pembury Hospital Junction.
Dunorlan Park, Tunbridge Wells, is a mixture of wild meadow and formal gardens with a large boating lake at the bottom of steep slopes. From the top of the park there are magnificent views across the Weald.
Pembury is a large village in Kent about 4km east of Royal Tunbridge Wells. The village is home to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, a large general hospital run by Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The hospital is located on the site of the former Pembury Hospital north-west of the main village on Tonbridge Road.
