Close to Cusworth Hall at the junction of Back Lane and Sheep Walk Lane South Yorkshire we watch the Police Stewarding operations of the 2024 Tour of Britain.
Then the peloton (from French, originally meaning ‘platoon’) sweeps round in front of us into Sheep Walk Lane and onto the finish in Barnsley 58.8 miles distant.
