1 week after Unbound Gravel I hopped on a plane and jumped the Atlantic for Finland Gravel. From the same folks that put on Steamboat Gravel I was looking forward to a good race. The course did not disappoint! We started on ski trails then got into the Finnish outback and ripped some really fun gravel and logging roads.

I finished up 15th after a small mechanical about 1.5 hours into the 5 hour race. The legs felt surprisingly good and I was happy to take a little mid season break after this one.

    1. Pity… I think it’s time to upgrade to Locite, torx specs can be fine but to safeguard yourself just slap in the extra insurance!
At least you got a good result, that course looked epic, what a beautiful route.
      Rest up and travel safe.

    2. I had a ''seat mechanical'' too in a gravel race last year Kerry. But it wasn't the seat post; it was the seat itself that tilted forward to about 10 degrees when I hit a bump pretty hard. With only about 15km to go I toughed it out much to the chagrin of my ass.😅

    3. Amazing, Kerry! So glad you've got some fun time-down time in a beautiful place. Very cool you're headed to MTB Nat's, best of luck and safe travels!
