    1. Connor at 50:53 i think the word yer were searching for was "MAKING ALIVE CONTENT" and that my friend are yer so dang good at – and please keep it comin, even if im following you around in a town for a Hourr – its still alive and interesting!

    2. Is ja klar das die Häuser von 12xx noch stehen, die sind aus Stein wie die pyramiden die stehen ewig nichtso wie die Pressspahnholz häuser in the USA 😀

    3. these stones at many churches are old tombstones from the middleages, mostly from the founders of the churches and those who where involved. at first they sealed their graves but later they were hang on walls to give more honor to this people.

    4. 0:41 Saying "My German isn't that good" in response to a German is the worst thing you can do.
Because that's what 99% of immigrants tell us when they've committed a crime.
It's better to ask if he speaks English and if he says yes, speak to him in English.
Asylum seekers and illegal immigrants usually don't speak English.

    5. Hi Conner,
Your not far from the Constance Lake. You should take a Trip to Konstanz. Great view over the Lake and right on the swiss Borderline. Its worth it. Leaving next week. Sorry , would of loved to meet you. God bless

    6. Dear Conner.
The Germany you have come to love so much is beginning to fall apart.
The left-wing government in Germany and the EU regulations in Brussels are prohibiting the European peoples from having national pride.
The EU wants to transform Europe into the "United States of Europe".
      That will never work.
Every country in Europe came into being because thousands of years of history shaped it.
That has nothing to do with the creation of the "United States of America".

    7. The tree is a salix. In german the trivial name is ,, Trauerweide". Minute 8:27
There are also diffrent other species of salix in Europe. Normally it grows at rivers, on wet surface. Ehm, and the first aspirin was extracted out of it. If you concentrate the acid inside the branches, you will get Acetylcholin. So, acetylacid is inside.
They might grow in Irland too.

    8. Our politics destroyed Volkswagen. They now produced so many new e-cars, instad of their main selling product Diesel, and Gasoline-Cars. Politics, is very bad right now. People are angry on anybody.

    9. The continental germans called odin wotan, thats the word wednesday in England. And in germany Thor was called wotan. Although the most people in germany are of celtic origin, in the north east more slavic an Northwest its more german. But you`ll find german originated people also in the south. Because their tribes settled. But actually non of that is really the one and only truth. The Romans desribed the People living next to the Rhine as germans.

    10. I live very close to Lake Constance, cool that you are with us in the south. The best area in Germany. Although, every German probably says that about their area 🤭

If you want and the timing works out, we could meet for a few hours and I could try to show you something😉

    12. Against tear out first you need sharp wood drills, and second a underlay of wood underneath. Tape on both sides of the strop piece where the holes will get drilled holds the wood fibres together agains tear out.
Then I would pre drill with smaller diameter, half or 2/3 of the final diameter (pilot holes).
Make (or let make) a guiding template out of very hard wood (or metal) with perpendicular holes of the desired final diameter.
What I do if a template is too much assle: I have a small piece of wood in wich I hammer a headless nail wich is as perpendicular as possible . I have it close to my drill and line both up (nail and my drill bit).
Then clamp the guiding template + strop piece + underlayer tight together before drilling.

As for the rounding of the edges, I would like them softened. Where the leather is comming out, a very light rounding helps too for longevity of the strip.
Cheers mate, and good luck! 👍

    13. Another great Video👍🏻😎 Thank you for that✌🏼 It's always nice to see how you explore everything makes me want to do it myself 👍🏻🍀

    15. I´ve never been to Rottweil very nice town. I like this type of video you make. You start with little knowledge and take us with you on your excursions. So we get the feeling to be with you as a friend rather than to be with a gide or a teacher. That wouldn´t be bad either but that way we discover things together and simultaniously. By the way there is one thing I have to teach you: Rottweil lies exactly between the Schwarzwald and the Schwäbische Alb; so when you look east you see the Schwäbische Alb when you look west you see the Schwarzwald.

    16. The stones you see on churches are old gravestones. The graveyards used to be around the church. They were built new outside the old town some time ago. Some of the more beautiful gravestones were preserved and mounted to the church.

    17. "17,- that is what I thought at your first tour video! Should really be a bit informed about the locations. You are really missing so much or just walk by without recognizing it. And from your first tour I wanted to 'float' your comments with information.

    18. You are not allowed by law to film peoples faces in germany and disclose identity by picture! Also dont upload that on internet! Its serious, you can get sued! Blure the people on video material before uploading at least!

    19. 33:10 : "The Holy Cross parish for their Fallen (soldiers) is the writing. And yes, you were right. The first World War was 1914-1918, and the board in the middle refers the soldiers fallen then, while the boards to the left and right refer to the victims of the second World War.
Crosswalks: The cars do not stop because we Germans are so nice :), it is mandatory. The law says that a car has to stop as soon as seeing a pedestrian attempting to cross the road. If the police watched you not following this law you will have to pay a fine of 80€ and one point in Flensburg.
