1. Freiburg Cathedral (Münster)
Freiburg Cathedral, or Münster, is a Gothic cathedral whose construction began in 1200 and lasted until 1513. It is famous for its tall spire (116 meters), which is often called one of the most beautiful spires in the world. Inside the cathedral, you can see magnificent stained glass windows, statues, and ancient relics.

2. Münsterplatz
Münsterplatz is the main square in front of the cathedral, surrounded by historic buildings and cozy cafes. It is also home to an ancient bell tower and a beautiful fountain. The square often hosts various events and markets, including a popular farmers’ market.

3. Altstadt
The Altstadt, or old town, of Freiburg is full of narrow streets, picturesque squares, and historic buildings. Here you can see old houses with half-timbered facades, the old town hall (Altes Rathaus), the new town hall (Neues Rathaus), and other architectural monuments. A walk through the Altstadt is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a medieval city.

4. Freiburg Bächle
The Freiburg Bächle are small canals that run along the streets of the old town. They were built in the Middle Ages to supply the city with water and prevent fires.
