I had to remove my bike's front wheel after an accident, and when I put it back on, it's now making a loud screeching noise. The wheel seems properly attached, but the noise won’t go away. I have no idea how to fix a bike, so I’m not sure where to start. What could be causing this, and how can I stop the screeching? Any simple advice would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Is the wheel perfectly centered in the forks? It may be rubbing on the brakes since you put it back in, and it might not have been rubbing before you removed it. But it shouldn’t squeal like that unless the pads are contaminated so you may need to clean/replace the pads and clean the disc if that’s the case.

    2. Sounds like your rotor is loose, check the bolts to make sure they are tight, one or two loose will cause that noise.
