So fast and fun! I'm new to the Canyon and AXS ecosystem so this is a big jump for me. Some assembly tips that I stumbled through that probably hold true for other Canyon builds:

    • I was convinced I had a faulty seatpost clamp (kept slipping) until I pulled the seatpost clamp 'wedge' out and noticed the threads weren't greased. I cleaned everything thoroughly and applied grease to the threads and the non-seapost contact side of the wedge to help it slip easier against the frame side. And of course added a healthy amount of fiber paste to the contact side of the wedge and the seatpost itself. It's held no problem for three rides now. I think the additional friction of the dry threads and the dry carbon-on-carbon wedge against the frame was getting the torque wrench to 5Nm before the wedge clamp was really being applied to the seatpost… if that makes sense…
    • If you're planning on adjusting your seat angle (which you should) don't bother trying to move the seat while the bolt is in, even if it's loosened. I'll link to the video below, but basically you need to remove the bolt and seat rails completely (being careful as the bolt and carrier nut have a spring inside the assembly that will pop out if you're not holding it) and gently tap out the cone internals with a punch or allen key. Once they're out, you can reassemble and adjust the seat angle now that it's unstuck and not under load. It's a cool design as the post relies on friction to hold it in place… but it will most likely be stuck as the cone shape of the inside rails wedge in pretty good and they don't want to move after they've been torqued.
    • First ride I did lose the chainstay grommet at the bottom of the seat tube (for a front derailleur, just a plug in my case since it's 1x). I think this happened when I hit some chunky terrain and the nifty little canyon bag in the downtube internal storage bounced around and popped it out. I'll reach out to Canyon tomorrow I imagine they'll be cool about sending out a replacement.
    • I bought the integrated fidlock frame bag but will be returning it. I think it's an awesome idea, but the small amount of storage doesn't justify losing the water bottle space imo. I'm going with an Apidura top tube bag for odds and ends. Don't castrate me for not liking it if you're a fanboy, but it just wasn't for me.

Anyway, hope this helps anyone out there from going through the panic and remorse I went through for 24 hours thinking I'd have to return my new bike (mainly because of the seatpost slipping). You can always take it to a Canyon Service Shop but I'd seriously try the clean and grease method first. There are some old threads talking about a revised seatpost clamp but I believe the new frames are shipping with the updated part as the part number on the wedge clamp mine came with is GP0295-03 which is what the website is selling and the "-03" makes me think they are on the 3rd revision of this clamp wedge.
