Probably time to start giving the trail conditions the respect they deserve.

Thought our last rain was way more recent than it really was, and absolutely did not factor how dusty and loose the terrain when I was deciding whether to commit to these steeps or not. Really lucky I didn’t go head first into the ravines below or into a tree when my rear was washing out and my tire grip was gone.

I love going into conditions that take you along for the ride and require instinctive reactions, but this may have been a bit much, especially for a solo ride.
