Just felt I needed to tell the internet. Finally got everything dialed in on my new bike. Everything was working perfectly. End of season- I’m feeling fit- climbed to the top with no breaks and without feeling gassed- got passed by some e bikers- kept them in sight- and caught up by the top.
The first trail was good- nothing out of the ordinary happened- I noticed the bike was running perfectly and the air I had in the shock was finally right.
Ran the next trail (Expresso on Mt Fromme)- I’m familiar with it- rode all the stunts- rode it faster than I ever have before- launched everything- landed softly and properly off everything, at one point came into a corner hot and did a two wheeled slide which caught on the berm and rocketed out… all with feet on the pedals.
Everything just flowed and went right.
I ended the trail where normally I would take a rest… didn’t bother- just kept pedalling and pedaled out on Baden Powell- walking only the steepest bit.
I was just “on”, the weather was perfect- the clouds came down like a soft mist just above the trees (photo 2) and it almost looked like a smooth smoke… the temp was perfect, the grip as as good as it gets…
I finished feeling absolutely refreshed and right with the world- then went home and did heavy dead lifts.
I can’t imagine a more perfect morning. It was magical- and I feel absolutely privileged to have experienced it.
Anyone else have these kind of days?

That place looks epic! Everything is so dry and dead where I live and it hasn’t rained in 6 months haha. Keep shredding 🤙
Looks squatchy
Some days even the basic shit is problematic and I feel like a rookie. Some days everything just clicks and I feel like a pro.
I love being out by myself and hitting something perfectly and yelling, ‘woohoo’ as loud as I can.
Nice. 7th -> Expresso u/L -> Digger is the to-go Fromme lap in my opinion. There are gnarlier trails and bigger features but this lap is such a nice mix of tech and flow, all while being chill enough to ride in all conditions.
FYI if you’re riding the BP and stairs of despair out to the parking lot… this lap is best accessed on the No Quarter climbing route.
