Medium, you’re 1cm taller than me and mine fits perfectly

I am a beginner cyclist, cycling 2-3 times per week. For now, I am using a trekking bike, which is far from ideal (Nexus 7), but still enjoyable. I am mainly cycling on paved road, with a bit of gravel road from times to times (very “easy” gravel, no problem with my 700×28 Marathon plus tyres)
I was thinking to get a Canyon Endurace 7 AL, but I am a bit confused regarding sizing. Canyon recommend M, but I heard a slightly larger bike allows for better handling, which I am not against since this would be my very first road bike.
What do you recommend? Thank you very much

It says right there, M. You’re not even on the border. NEVER try to size up, unless you know VERY WELL what you’re doing and why.
