Part of front brake connector snapped and obviously no tension in brake. What to do?

Shall I cut my losses and take this to a professional or can someone advise me on how to repair this? part of the brake snapped. I assume it’ll need a brand new brake part at this point instead of a new wire?

How easy is a new brake to install or shall I just leave it up to the professionals? Obviously there is no tension in the brake and pulling the wire does nothing so the front left break is unusable right now.
