  1. I remember the New Zealanders went into that cup with new tech and trounced everyone but got complacent instead of keeping their edge. The Americans came storming back and the kiwis kept a we've got the better boat, steady as she goes. But it was obvious Oracle had figured out the tech and NZ didn't react, lost because of it.

  2. I watched these races everyday in surprise! Im a New Zealander. I was astounded at what happened! Kept me watching every morning! But, still, so very weird. Even now, in 2024, I dont think we would see this happen again lol. This was some time ago now. But still in my mind lol

  3. Originally, i had wondered who lived in the Fly Emirates region of Australia, where the Flies controlled all. There, one has to raise spiders to overcome the flies on those guys.

  4. The fact that a movie has not been made about this comeback really bothers me! If it was any other sport, there'd be a movie and a novel and probably a sequel as well!! But because it's sailing, which is for some reason I cannot understand, seen as the sort of red-headed stepchild of sports, no one cares enough!! It makes me really angry that sailing is not given its due. It was a sport before all these other sports. The least people could do is give it its proper respect but nooooo!!!
