    1. I feel like I have aged 30 years in the last 4 years with how much pro triathlon has changed. I don't recognize most the names of the winners lately. Have no idea where they are all coming from. Seems like the sport has completely blown up over the past few years and the people winning today seem to be the most dominant in the history of the sport…basically making pro's of former generations look like age group competitors. So what's going on? Why is the sport getting so insanely competitive and how are people who were unknown a year or two ago breaking course records and destroying competition. I am not saying everybody is juiced but I would guess many athletes are.

    2. I did IM Tallinn the day before 70.3 and this swim was a doozie lol. Also it was a horrendous wind on the bike. I met Kat Matthews during the pre swim and she is so amazing!

    3. Besides the rise of Bitados as another youngster with great talent to follow in the next races, I think the biggest aspect to point out of the race is Kat's "disappointing" second place. For sure not a bad race, far from it, but the Kat that we saw all season would come up from behind and nail victory…perhaps the accumulated fatigue from double IM + great results in the T100.
Definitely worthy to keep an eye on it ahead of Worlds and/or Ibiza
