Here is a little video of a cycle trip we did from Seoul to Busan..Unfortunately my touring bike was incorrectly delivered (wrong frame size ) so I had to hire a bicycle instead for the trip
14 Years since I met my childhood best friend. We cycled approximately
720kms from Seoul to Gimhae, Busan – averaging about 100kms a day and
then ended up in my island hometown of Jeju.
In the hottest recorded summer since 1994 averaging 36 degrees and
clear blue skies, we all at some point battled with heatstroke,
dehydration or just extreme fatigue. We were often overwhelmed by the
enduring and overflowing love and kindness of strangers with every
town and village that we passed often giving us food, water and even
accommodation. More so we were honoured to have been swept in the tide
of history, tradition and natural beauty that this incredible country
has to offer.
