I need to get gimbal so that my shots are more steady! If you know any good gimbal I can buy at Media Market, can you post a Link here for me? Thanks to everyone who continues to enjoy the videos ¨̮
Many of the buildings in the Fischerviertel (fishermen's quarter) are actually several hundred years old. It's actually a medieval trademen's and craftmen's quarter. The canals were built for being used by different businesses. There were quite a number of water mills for different purposes.
It's important to take into account that the Danube river was an important trading route for certainly more than 2000 years and Ulm is at a place where another important trading route, eg. for salt and fabric in north-south direction is crossing the Danube river.
Hi,
Im from ulm.
You lookiing on 11:38 house and 12:54 min. !
Schiefe Haus (hotel)
Gasse = alley
Best places in Ulm are Fischerviertel (you were there) and down by the big river – the Donau! Neckar is flowing to the Rhine – European water divide! (look it up 😉)
Oh Conner! That river is the longest river of Europe, it's the Danube river – in German: die Donau.
It's sources – those of the rivers Brigach and Breg which join in Donaueschingen – are in the Black Forrest and it runs through many European contries until it reaches the Black Sea in Romania (close to Ukraine and Moldavia). Running through Regensburg and Passau in Germany it continues to flow through Austria, especially Vienna, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and Romania. It's on the border between Austria and Slovakia, between Croatia and Serbia, between Romania and Bulgaria, and finally between Romania and Ukraine. It's passing through Bratislava/Slovakia, Budapest/Hungary and Belgrade/Serbia. After Belgrade the Danube river is passing through the gorges of the Iron Gate to cross the southern Carpat mountains and to enter the lower plains of southern Romania.
I would really love a video exploring Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Its such an idyllic beautiful town
Haha "… and pick the train that looks the most interesting"……. adventure pure!
"Gasse" is an old word for alleyway or lane, nowadays it mainly refers to very narrow streets. So "Fishergasse" means "Fisher's Lane".
Good to hear you feel better when filming now.
OH wow….. a case of good karma, you stumbled upon the bakery and could pay that back! I don't believe in coindicencess, I believe in Karma!
Hi Connor. He's right. Film! Push your channel. You're doing good
When you coming to the north?
Die Krone, Crown, is the oldest inn in town. Inside you can take a seat right next to a wall dating from it's early days, which is Staufer period, in this case 13th century. I used to live in one of those houses you showed in Fischerviertel right next to the creek. I loved to stay there! A friend of ours lives there – having his coffee right over the water.
Have a great time in Germany!
Take care!
Nice mind set 👍
Hey Conner, there's a fellow American here who is exploring Germany on his own for a few days – maybe you both wanna meet?! He's in Cologne right now, his channel is MoreJps. He'll stay for only a few more days but I thought it would be an awesome idea for a video, don't you think?

You need to go to the olympiastadion in Berlin. It is a historic place and you can visit a football game too 😊
You Are Welcome 🎉🔥
Oh hey!🙏😊 I'm living between Ulm and Stuttgart!❤ It's great to see you like my country and s'Schwabenländle hihi
I've only been back in the US since Jan. I miss Germany!! Tysm for sharing
Football/Soccer Teams in Germany usually do have mascots but most of them arent as popular as in the US and they dont name their club after them. Some just have the animal/mascot on their badge.
Hey, i like your videos, nice that you were in Ulm, my hometown, nice to see the city from a different perspective 🙂 you say you like the old town (Altstadt) , then I recommend you take the same train 1 hour further to Ravensburg or if you have a lot of time to Wangen im Allgäu, beautiful old towns too 🙂
in december 1944 mostly the whole old city of Ulm was destroyed by a airstrike of the british army. So this is the sad reason that there are no old houses between train station and the big church Ulmer Münster. It was once a wonderful medeaval city.
I love Ulm. It is 2 h from my home with the train. The old part Namen " Fischerviertel"
I live in Ulm 😊
Heey that is my hometown 😮, btw you‘ve seen most of the best Spots in Ulm. I will you some insights, the River is the Danube, the old town Part where you walked through at the start of the vid is the so called Fischerviertel. And btw german Football Clubs also have mascots … f.e. Stuttgart has Fritzle its a crocodile (Not a real one😂)
