So I have this Fuel EX 9.7 and it’s pretty much stock right now with pedals and grips. I want to buy the Limited edition Pink Flamingo grips from PNW and wanted some opinions on what would look good with the Pink colored grips? Anyone else have a color combo with the Flamingo grips that they like? Right now I have an all black scheme and red Chester pedals to match my red helmet, but it’s too bland for me. Help me out pls!

    1. The best way to make a bike stand out is to ride it (well) on amazing terrain in a beautiful place. The bike and rider stand out, not coloured accessories. Nice bike btw.

    2. Nice blank canvas to work with. If you want it to stand out, don’t do what’s typical (pedals, grips and valve caps). To me that looks cheap and it’s too easy and predictable.

You could get some vinyl decals to put on it like cherry blossoms or something.

    4. Burgtec do pink spacers for your steerer tube. You could get decals in whatever colours you want. Could change out your shifter cable hose to a coloured Jagwire hose.

    5. Well you’ve already got the pedals, so grips and bars are pretty easy to do. You can look up ride wrap online or search on Amazon for companies that make frame protection kits and some of them have graphics and designs that you might like. If you ride in muddy conditions, front and rear fenders are also an option. Also, maybe a few stickers, for your local trail organization or something like that. Some of those things I look at not only is personalization but also it helps ID the bike quickly in case anything were ever to happen to it.
