On the penultimate, fourth day of the 71st International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria, cyclists will tackle one of the most difficult and long routes, namely Primorsko – Sliven.

    The competition starts on 28.08.2024 at 1:10 p.m. in front of the general building of Primorsko (sharp start) – Ropotamo parking reserve – Ravadinovo junction – Sozopol junction – Chernomorets junction – Rosen junction – Kraymorie clover – Burgas (roundabout) – Blvd. Art. Stambolov (activity bonus) – Aytos branch – Vetren – Sofia branch – Venets – Lozenets (roundabout) – Mokren (ascent – climbers’ bonus) – Shumen branch – Gradets – Ichera (climbers’ bonus) – Final municipality of Sliven – 18: 05 a.m.

    Apart from the participation of the municipalities, the main organizers of the tour are the Bulgarian Cycling Federation (BFC), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Sofia. The general sponsor of BFC in the implementation of the sports event is the insurance company DZI. The partnership aims to popularize cycling in our country and improve the culture and safety of cyclists as road users.

    This year the tour coincides with the 100th anniversary of sports cycling in Bulgaria.
