Today I attempt to cycle the 500 miles from Margate to Land’s end, in the epic adventure I will pedal my way across the country from the east coast to the south-west crossing the Kent downs, high weald national landscape, the south downs with the south downs way, the new forest the Jurassic coast, Dartmoor and Cornwall. With over, 44000ft of elevation gain this route is sure to test me, find out how I got on as I bikepack the southern way.

Love your videos keep them coming 😊
Always a great day when one of your adventures land. Thank you.
You like Scotland. You like pubs. How about going to Inverie? Scotland most remote village?
Cheers 🌞🚴♀️🖖
how narrow are those bars?
Hey Josh you got your own t shirt. Nice one ! 🤘🏻 looks good 👍
Really enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
My neck of the woods love the lanes around Charing 🙂
Awesome trip and great to see you back mate. Take it you got on the right train this time 😂
Were those pasties better than the other place?
Epic mate. Went past my play ground of Butser Hill and QECP as well. Amazing video as always.
We’ve missed you Josh. Great to see another adventure 👍
I starting to recognise more and more places on your trips these days 🙂 Did you camp inside Chanctonbury Ring on the SDW? haha! The route through the final 1/3 of the trip looked really good, not got that far west myself yet so gonna take some notes. Thanks for a great vid!
brilliant ride and video Josh, well done plugging away into that wind….some awesome camera shots and great storytelling, cheers
Great video, thnk you for sharing
Thanks for sharing your experience and views where stunning how you do it amazes me well done 👏🏻
Really looking forward to doing this one Josh. Where can I get the GPX for it?
That has to be the first time I've seen a swimming pool on a beach?? Is that because the tides are strong or is there some other reason I wonder.
When can we buy the caps! Give the people what they want! 😁
I think this was my favourite trip. It was so beautiful all the way along, and so many placed I went to as a kid with my mum; for a moment I forgot London existed.
But who was your charming assistant at 34:49!? A Patreon, or have you got a secret girlfriend?
16:10 Fantastic videography 👍
As soon as you said Poole in Dorset i thought the Sand banks ferry and Studland-Swanage and beyond to Weymouth the Jurrasic coast leading close to Sidmouth/Exmouth ish, Exeter to Dawlish, You have brought back so many memories, mid 50's now and your vids are awesome, thank you, edit Old Harry rocks yes just before Swanage, tis a bit hilly, Lulworth Cove is epic, used to take The Wife and kids, that car park was always full and the hill was always a challenge, the views from atop though are some of the most wonderful i have ever seen on a Coastline, the land slippage in massive chunks of Earth over time……Hope they golfers work it out btw <3
Love the new Keep Smiling shirt Josh! ❤😄
Well done ! Great Video as always ! It’s about getting out long or short … pushing yourself over all those hills 👍👏🏻
Epic adventure!
Chanctonbury Ring my favourite place to sleep, great views to wake up to.
Could you give a quick bike description, please. Still a Ti Sonder? And what handlebars? Cheers
Your second night of camping on the South Down Way with a fellow cyclist camper nearby looked like Chanctonbury Ring?
Hey mate, your film inspired me to get on my bike today. Only 40km, a warm up for you I'm sure, but for me that's a good distance, especially as it was mostly off road. Thank you. Ps. As a Cornishman, I agree entirely about the mighty pasty!
Fantastic video, some great shots and what an adventure!!!
So great to see you back on a bike, Josh. I take it you're all mended now? Always fancied an east-west route like this, so thanks for the inspiration 👍🏻.
What a fantastic trip. And an absolute joy to watch, thank you.
Hello, we met on this adventure on the hill out of Swanage and had a quick chat – thanks for the upload 👍
Ecellent adventure josh i rode through where you camped in charing kent on my way to Canterbury last week look forward to your next adventure
