I'm currently halfway along the Dempster highway in the Yukon. When I rebuilt my bike I put my seat too high which meant I was too toe forward and around km 300 it flaired up hard. I downed NSAIDS, lowered my seat, and pedaled another 100km with my heel to the midway point I'm at now. Heel pedaling felt fine.
Question is, should I keep going with the Achilles pain if heel pedaling is going fine? I'm fine with a statis of pain, but don't want to risk a blow out. No other services for another 400km. Walking is painful but otherwise seem to be surviving.
