  1. I said it since last year, after La Vuelta, Sepp is never gonna win another grand tour!
It will hurt his fan base, but facts are facts! However, it remains, he is an extraordinary SUPER domestique!

  2. UAE Team Emirates will prove too strong by the end. I like Van Aert and Kuss but Almeida and Yates are superior climbers. Grand tours are won in the mountains.

  3. To answer your question I will say that I really hope he can.
Those injuries really stick around for a long time and the older you get the more they add up.
We're all not getting any younger and this kind of crap doesn't help.

  4. Poor old LR, did think it might just have been workload fatigue why there was no stage 2 upload, given he was covering the TdF femmes too.
That said, the bleeding tv coverage blackout didnt help; Quest had it listed in it's typical 7pm slot but had some daytime telly type rubbish airing instead, without the tv guide updating.
These combined did have me checking the vuelta official site & wiki page for news of a rider protest or stage cancellation or somesuch due to conditions or whatever, but no, there was the results for the stage.
No mention of why that happened (quest don't use a programme announcer either) or any reference in the ep that did air after stage 3, just a few brief shots of the sprint finish, so i'm glad you did track back to cover it here, thanks LR.
    Rest well, mate!
