Hey Riders…..
Time for more epic race action from La Vuelta as we jump ahead to a portion of Stage 18. This is week 4 out of 5 of the August Muckers WorldWide Championship series so this is going to be a “Hulk-smash” effort by lots of riders. Every week we have more of the regulars returning and lots of new riders as well. It’s only getting bigger and better.
Hey don’t forget the Gem City ICC Team Time Trial event tomorrow, probably not too late to get a team entered. I will be racing and making a race video of the entire event.

great race tonight. managed to stay with the front group for a little over 13km. it is a little demoralising when in 2nd place then 2 riders pass and it shows you in 18th within a second. I did manage to launch a major attack at 11.90km and took the final sprint finish going from 21st to 13th in the final 200m or so

So good to finally see your face! Thanks for the ton of mentions! This wasn't my style of race tonight. It was too flat for me, but I had to give it a go. 🤔 I had a thought, maybe one day you could do a guest chat with one of the riders (i.e., record the video and then reach out to one of the front runners and have a chat about the race and how they felt). It's just an idea. But again, great videos! I will keep sharing your channel in all my Strava posts. #cycling #strava #guestchat

Great video. Nice to see you catch my sprint which you clearly see I win… but the results show halair in front of me. That seems to get reported a lot on close finishes doesn’t it but at least the video proves I just got the timing spot on!!

Hey, came across this video… Im the Winnipeg guy… CYWG is the airport code for Winnipeg, so I just call myself ChrisCYWG cause I fly for my job… will be on when I can, was off today from work, and it was raining out, so decided to get a hard ride inside versus a 100km in the rain outside.. like the -40 analogy hahaha stupid thing is Ill still be cross country skiing at -25.. we're a different kind of breed here on the prairies LOL Thanks for the video!

Referring to your question, yes I also do Ironman and in fact Niels, Morten and I found each other here on Rouvy doing the Muckers races and are now meeting in real life, cycling together occasionally here in Denmark. Niels and I are doing Copenhagen IM 2025 together and our goal is to beat the 10 hour mark – some work to do though🥴

Hello. I'm the usually closing race guy. But it's not too tought to me. I try to keep a safe heart rate below 150 and enjoy the ride. I think it's more tought being in front of the race.
