Monte is Harriet’s Dawes Karakum, and Komodo is Mat’s Fuji Touring. Full kit and tech gear list in the blog.

Over 7 days we cycled from Chur, Switzerland, near the source of the River Rhine, to Donaueschingen in Germany, the source of the River Danube! We followed local cycleways and had a mini break at beautiful Camping Merg on lake Walensee, then a few days in Zurich at Camping Fischers Fritz on lake Zurichsee, where we met Harriet’s sister Georgie. We then had Harriet’s dads’ 60th birthday celebration, where we met the rest of the Brown family in Fallenden approx. 80k west of Zurich (Simon, Lizanne, sister Libby, and Dotty dog!) for 5 nights relaxing around the lake.
Revitalised, we cycled from here to Donaueschingen, via some big big hills and more incredible scenery and begun Cycling the Danube!

    1. I just watched all of the tour you did from The Netherlands up till here in one go. I have to say you are a really nice couple and the way you have presented this is amazing! Your cinematic and presenting skills are very good. It's very inspiring and I hope to be able to do a similar route next year. Subscribed and will definitely also watch the rest of the video's over the coming days (even if I only plan do tour from The Netherlands to Lake Constance :). Thanks a lot for sharing!

    2. I've watched the 3 films you made of this trip and now I'm watching each one of the episodes of the series and I'm enjoying it very much. I've just learned recently that it was possible to travel like this through Europe and I am now seriously thinking about doing it myself. Thank you for sharing your trip, it has been very inspiring! I would like to ask you a technical question. I see that you got a new tire for your bike on this episode. Did you notice any significant difference between the original tire, the Vittoria Randonneur, and your new Schwalbe Marathon tire? I'm trying to decide between these two tires and any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

    3. Really enjoyed your videos of Eurovelo 15. My wife and I are about to leave from Canada to start our trip from Strasbourg to Amsterdam and we found your videos inspiring. Great narration and informative tips.
