There are plenty of things to do in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland; From scenic walking trails and camping grounds to mountain biking and paragliding in the valley. Staubbachfall is one of the key landmarks of Lauterbrunnen and with 300 meters is the highest free-falling waterfall in Switzerland.
There are many places to stay in Lauterbrunnen, but we decided to stay in Wengen, which is a smaller, more quiet Swiss village just 7 minutes away from Lauterbrunnen.
Wengen is a small village but it has several hotels and restaurants, grocery stores, equipment rental, and other stores. It’s definitely a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
We loved our time here and created great memories.
