I'm talking mostly on-road or light gravel/dirt, nothing too mountainous or crazy.

I'm on a strict budget with bike cost, I simply don't hav £3k to drop. Around £1k is my limit and a stock Sirrus 3.0 is around £1100

I'm also crazy short and 99% of bikes don't fit me, but this bike comes in XXS which is perfect.

    This bike, btw: https://www.specialized.com/gb/en/sirrus-x-30-eq/p/198897?color=317431-198897&searchText=92421-7300

My brother used to have a Specialized Sirrus and we toured a bit with it. It was fine but not amazing — compared to my touring bike (an old Koga Miyata Traveller) the frame would bend and vibrate quite a lot when we loaded the bike. It was really important not to load the bike too heavily and to make sure that the load was balanced. Also my brother got a lot of flats because he didn’t change the tyres into something that would work better on gravel. All in all, it was a nice fast bike, but he sold it and bought a second-hand gravel bike.

I did Berlin to Copenhagen this summer (about 600km) on a Sirrus x 3.0 EQ and it was great! I’m sure you’ll be fine if you’re not doing any serious mountains. You can also check the website for recommendation on how heavily you can load the bike, taking into account rider weight – you can load enough for a bike tour for sure.
