On #InternationalBikingDayCanadian 2024, paralympian Nathan Clement, former elite swimmer now tricyclist, shared his love for biking including the « type 2 kind of fun » he enjoys most and what he thinks of the (« world’s best » ) Paris 2024 paralympic bike course. He also shared his favorite French food and word, and how he felt at less than 100 days out to the competition.

    #DYK ? Paracycling is divided into three types of events : time trial, individual pursuit and tandem or team sprint. Nathan competes in T1 (tricyclist) time trial. Paralympics now accommodate several disabilities, with types of bikes used: standard bicycles, handcycles, tricycles and tandems. There’s a bike for each different type of disability, adapted to suit the athlete’s needs. The town of Clichy-sous-Bois in Seine-Saint-Denis will host the start and finish of the Para-cycling event from 4 to 7 September 2024. The Para-cycling event will run a loop starting and finishing in Clichy-sous-Bois.
