2 hours extra 😑 lovely adventure though!
Your nationality is British not English.
Just glad that you only sailed the Irish Sea and not the Atlantic. As much as I appreciate adventuring but you should do prep. Also, a VPN advert without letting us know? 🫤
An unplanned riding adventure from Saffy? Off course we're not going to miss it, starting with this 1st episode. Can't wait for more, well done Saffy! 👍👍
Looking forward to seeing the rest of these videos, Ireland may well be my next trip…..loving the way you are just 'winging' this one too
Saffron, your nationality is not English it's British 😋
Very jealous! But have plucked up the courage and am going to Wales soon. (Yes on the 125 will take me hrs).
I am 50/50 whether to film due to the quality of channels like your's etc. Still might just do what I can do. (Am looking into bike covers n security and will research editing software).
Have received soo much help am blown away a bit🏴🇬🇧💪
Not sure on Irish Ferries, but DFDS crossings have a kiddies soft play area……out of bounds for playing on whilst ferry is moving. (ideal place to get a decent kip) 😉 😉 them seats are ok for 10mins then ya get numb bum. 😕
I toured Ireland when I was 14 with my dad on his 79 bonneville he rebuilt. One of my happiest memories with him. Cant wait to give my kids the same experiences (we also had the rat packs 🙂 )
The ferry to Dublin doesn't go near the Atlantic, bless you! That one is the Irish Sea. Nice job and the NordVPN ad was terrific.
Hope you enjoyed your trip round Ireland. If you have not been to the Isle of Man it is worth a trip. You can come when it is busy with racing or outside the racing it is nice and relaxing. Let me know and can point you in the right direction. Cheers
N on irish cars means novice driver…..they've just passed their driving test.
Erin go Bragh .
Hi Saffy, some years back I read Jupiter’s Travels by Ted Simon,he travelled on a Triumph Tiger in 45 countries from 1973 to 1977 (also did a follow up journey)also an audio book.A brill window into what the world was like then.Bless all adventurers and vloggers.❤️

Hi Saffy, very interesting and you gave me a few laughs, in a kind way. The big danger we have is that if we "old bikers" comment or give advice we sound patronising, never the intention. I just got back from a trip to Orkney, and as I live in the south of England, quite a long trip 1709 miles in eight days. To do this you need a good hop on day one, Salisbury to Sterling, I always plan at least the first night so in my case a good B&B. I like you made a balls up of my route crisis crossing England adding miles to my trip, fool. Feel free to look at my facebook, I have some great pictures. I'm enjoying you films, keep it up. Oh just as a foot note, 100 Km = 60 miles. Your bike handbook should tell you how to change it on your bike.
Next time your in southern Ireland let me know will met for a coffee. Brilliant video as always
N plate = New drivers. Just passed their test,
There is a way to change your digital speedo to Kilometers, pressing and holding one or two of the buttons on the dash
The tractor, well, it's Ireland.
Co.meath great place to visit loads to see.
Next time your coming to Ireland let me know, I let bikers camp on my farm for free has ruins of Abbey on it, biker myself so I've no problem firing on bbq and donating few beers and a fire to fellow bikers!
I'm from Ireland even I wouldn't stop at that petrol station lol. Its not easy getting out of Dublin thankfully I live in the countryside in co meath did you pass through co meath at any stage?
Hi nice lady, N in Ireland means newly qualified driver
The Topaz station as you leave the port is good…also do a wide range of coffee from Africa ( or they used too )
Nice to see you passed through my home town waterford..
It's great that you are flying by the seat of your pants, but a little planning isn't a bad thing. You will still have plenty of opportunities to hone your problem solving skills. 😄 Some of your time on the ferry could have been spent looking at a map, just so that you could get out of the city. Beyond that, knowing where you are going would allow you more time to look, and to keep yourself safe, specifically at 12:33 of your video when the car was pulling out in front of you. I know you know this, but 2 distracted vehicles is never a good thing…stay safe. I'm starting my own adventure in early March and doing only slightly more planning than you (what could possibly go wrong 🤣) I'm off to South America, but first I have to ride from Atlantic Canada through the US to get to warmer riding. I hope I don't have too much snow to ride through and have better luck with maps than your experience lol 🙂
Well done on your trip, I do this journey by bike about three times a year, but travelling in the opposite direction, my biggest tip would be to book yourself a cabin for your trip on the Ferry, they're not expensive and you can have a comfortable rest as well as a shower before setting off on the next leg of your journey, much nicer than a dirty floor….
Close call with that white car good braking . Your ferries are bigger than are ferries here on the BC west coast . Keep up the great job !!
Lovely vid. One thing, at 6:54 can we just take a moment to doff helmets to that Pan European's numberplate, featuring the best placed plate bolt in history. Ace!
Kinsale is a beautiful little town. Bought my now wife’s engagement ring there in 1998 when we were staying near Timoleague.. Suzuki RF 900RR at the time. Good days👍🏻
Planned to take my bike to irland next week and happened to hit on this video as part of my preparations. Saffy, honestly you made it literally easy for me with your vlogging skills. And must say, 6:38 – 6:50 made me laugh loud. 😄
