We have done the WoW ride this week, about 21 miles. We parked at Pugneys, there was plenty of space, toilets and a cafe. Parking was £4 for all day. We cycled anti-clockwise, I felt clockwise may have been better, the longest on road part was uphill the way we went. There are hundreds of signs to keep you on track, more than we have ever experienced elsewhere. The road is mainly off-road. Several of the car parks enroute have toilets and cafes. Definitely up there with the best cycle rides. The National Trust property Nostell is on the route (yet another cafe). The Hepworth in Wakefield was closed when we arrived, maybe we stopped for tea and coffee too many times! After the ride we had dinner at the Swan and Cygnet pub just a few hundred yards from Pugneys, that gave time for the rush hour traffic to clear. Thanks to Wakefield Cycle Forum for all your efforts.
