Adjust your B limit screw until it quits doing whatever it’s doing.
I swear, there are at least 3 or 4 daily posts in this subreddit that are this exact problem of not properly adjusting B tension screw.
How many teeth is that large cog? That RD is rated for 28 teeth
B limit screw adjust. If maxed out you need a different derailleur or add a road link.
I’m no mechanic, but shouldn’t that derailleur be extended more when it’s on the largest gear?
B screw is definitely the rescue here. But since OP started talking about chain length, I also think when it comes to replacing a chain, people tend to just slap on the new one as is, without first putting it next to the old chain and shorten it to the same number of links.
Looking at the video it could be your tension screw limit needs adjustment.
