  1. I have been ridding and buying bikes for 20 years and I will never understand how a bike with no suspension and just one derauler can cost more than 1.500 – 2.000€ 🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. What do these $5000 or pound bikes do that the $500 can't ? I just don't understand what makes these bikes as expensive as an used car. You can buy a sport bike 1000cc or dirt bike. What does this bicycle do that the normal bicycles can't ?

  3. I tried gravel and then ended up with a hardtail and the excellent Surly Corner Bar and gravel tyres from Planet X. So much cheaper, durable and more versatile on the trails I ride.

  4. Great to see GT becoming relevant again. In the late 80s, early 90s, GT was the mountain bike to have… well, them and Klein. GT was my very first MTB and someday I will own another one.

  5. Wake me up when we can get 2x drivetrains on gravel bikes again. I like a huge gear range so unless it has a 10-50t cassette, 1x is worthless to me on any drop bar bike

  6. Orbea all the way. Why? It's the best-looking (and be even better in 2x). The GT is ugly and I wonder what's more silly about the Santa Cruz: the suspension fork or the extremely stupid name. "Stigmata" is the plural of "stigma" which roughly translates to "sign of shame". The only thing I can think of what this has to do with this bike is the price tag.

  7. This is awesome! My first gravel bike was the first GT grade I bought in 2015. Still rides amazing! I'll definitely gonna check if the newer version is even better!! I can already guess the answer!

  8. Funny thing is that the GT Grade LE isn’t available anymore. They sold me one of the last ones but couldn’t deliver so they gave me the next model down for free. Took that money and bought new wheels ect. Great frame though… just rode it on gravel today.
