Ride #7 of #thighsofsteel is in the books. It felt great to get back on the bikes after a five day break. We rode to the airBaltic RIGA OPEN a big deal here! Who knew that the Baltics produce disc golf champs? There are a ton of courses here in Latvia and Estonia. We’ll go back mid week and play a round. In the meantime, we watched the men and women semi finals today.
There were four male deaf players too. I took a chance and signed “good luck” in ASL and they signed back “thank you.” At least it was thank you in ASL, it might have been “you’re bothering me!” in LSL!
Anyhow, we racked up 43 km today. We have three more rides to hit our goal of 50k, so we’re feeling pretty good about our #thighsofsteel challenge. I’ll give a butt and thigh report soon!
