This is my personal recap on the Baltic Downhill Cup 2 stage in GAIZINKALNS. The highest peak in Latvia. It might not be high, but we do have great DH tracks thanks to some very enthusiastic people! You know who you are – THANK YOU for giving everyone a chance to shred in Gaizins!
The training day was dry and sunny, with overall great weather. The race day was overcast with rain on the last track number 3 which made the race VERY fun for the viewers and gave us, the riders at the starting line something to stress about. Great experience, with awesome people, and good organization.
In total, there were 111 riders from Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, and one Ukrainian.
