Just go! But for me it works better to plan ahead.. I don't have the mental space to also figure out where to sleep or buy food.. but I won't make reservations anymore.. which for me is huge step. It is helpful to read up on road rules and bike recruitments.. everyone who is able to ride on a bike is able to do a bike tour.. you will learn along the way..
