I’ve got a trek fx sport and love it. 3 months ago I started leaving my bike in a street lockup cabin – it’s protected from the rain but not climate controlled.
Since then I started getting these small raised marks all over my frame. I tried cleaning them with silicone spray, and with degreaser and they won’t come off. The only thing that gets them off is if I scratch them off with my nails but that’s not really viable for the whole bike.
I’m wondering if this is an issue with the bikes clear coat?

Do you carry bottles with energy drink in them? I get little crusty bits all over my frame when the bottles leak a bit when I drink from them.
