We have a FULL day of exploring outside of Paris and heading out to Paris, France’s MOST popular day trip to Versailles! Versailles has been getting more and more popular each year, and wonder, is it worth it?
We started out by grabbing coffee at a cafe in Versailles and then heading to our ticketed time entrance at Versailles.
There is SO MUCH to see in the grounds of Versailles, but make time at least to tour the Palace, Grand Trianon, and Petit Trianon. It will take a lot more time than you think to get around to all of these spots, so get there early! Our personal favorite spot is the Gardens of Versailles, they’re so beautiful!
We spent the rest of the evening at Tour Montparnasse with an incredible view of the city. We hadn’t heard of this spot before, and we definitely think it deserves a spot on your itinerary!

how did you feel safety-wise in paris? thinking of doing a solo trip there at some point but i’ve heard it’s not the safest for women on their own. any tips?

So grand! The gardens were exceptionally beautiful. I feel like it's one of those places you have to go to when you visit Paris.

From an historical point of view Versailles is off the scale. Its influence is world wide. Sadly, due to over exposure and threats from climate NAZIS, everything is behind perspex and thus the interiors look like film set.
