    1. The sponsors pay for their name on the winners jersey during the races for the year in which they have paid. The sponsors want Demi to win. It's either internal team mate on team mate issues or director or sportif decisions made out of spite. It's like watching a freaking junior race

    2. Crashed out by a team mate who doesn't wait and keeps going to sprint for nothing, gets no help form her team staff after the crash and not really after the finish either. I really hope Demi can sign for a professional team as soon as possible.

    3. Can’t wait for Demi to leave that mess. Completely agree with Patrick, that’s as bad as I’ve seen in a long time. Wiebes should be ashamed of herself. Especially after Demi pulled for her the first two stages.

    4. It's been a lousy event, IMO. The courses in Rotterdam were terrible, especially the first stage that featured roads that were too narrow (divided roads with only one side devoted to the race cyclists, and several crashes) and, above all, no racing. There was no breakaway. There was no racing even with 5K left–lame. Then there was the 2 stages in 1 day–which was weird, and necessitated an almost absurd 6.3K ITT. Today's crash was caused by a dangerous curve (or roundabout) late in the stage that had no warning for the cyclists, apparently, especially because it had a curb on the outside perimeter which is what caused the crash. And then SD Worx had no communications, apparently, and nobody came back to help Vollering. The team never seems to work well together. I'm glad Van de Breggen is getting back on the bike because I don't think she's been good managing races, frankly–and I'm a big fan of hers. SD Worx should stop working for Wiebes—not worth it. Didn't Vollering drop back to bring back Wiebes in the Olympic road race? The Dutch made Wiebes team leader in the Olympic road race when Vollering should have been the leader.

    5. It's the 3K zone, guys, not 5K. Correct?

You can't say that most of the peloton didn't crash on the curve because the crash occurred //in front of // most of the peloton. Also, the curve looked pretty sketchy to me given that it came late in the race when the pace would be high–and was high–and it had a curb on the outside, which causes the crash. There should have been some sort of warning for the cyclists there. Wiebes is a joke–she can't finish and she doesn't help Vollering after Vollering wasted herself trying to Wiebes in the Olympic road race–which was foolish.

    6. Honestly, if Demi wins this tour it's more impressive than Tadej's double. She not only fights against her opponents and the effects of her crash, but also against her own team :/

    7. Really hoping Vollering is alright. I had a hard hip hit two weeks ago and for a minute I was worried about my hip before getting on my bike, and when I got back on my bike I ended up feeling alright shortly after, though definitely sore. The way she looked when she stood up reminded me of what my crash felt like. My hope is that her landing was no worse than mine, and that she's only a bit sore tomorrow and is able to finish the race at her best, or nearly.

    8. Congrats to Vás. As a cyclocross fan, its pretty cool to see this talented young bunch, that have kept me entertained in the winter, shine on the road too.

    9. If Demi wins GC, she gets to be the best GC cyclists in the world. Pog included. She has to beat the competition and her own team. I wish there was a closer image of the crash. Conspiracy: Wiebers crashed her on purpose. Lol. Pog only had to deal Ayuso for only a few stages before they sent him home.

    10. In every men's team they would have dropped Vas also, to be honest, Wiebes wouldn't have been the best helper uphill. Imagine Pogi crashes and Wellens going for the stage when there are only 2 other teammates left, 1 of them worked all day. And I just don't believe that team radio was not working. It is more likely that the DS just don't care about Demi.

    11. From the overhead it looked like it was Wiebes that crashed into Demi in that corner. Also NFB crashed, checked her bike over then just cycles past Demi without stopping to check on her?! I know she had to then wait for a bike change but surely first thing you do in a crash is check for your leader?? I can't believe the shambles that is SD Worx
