Thanks. Obviously this will all change once the new A41 comes into use. There still seem to be a couple of missing spans near to the south end of the viaduct.
Thank you. Great vistas, great views, and music. Your inline video comments are very helpful for those not directly involved. Fascinating and beautiful progress on this large effort !
The usual top quality progress report for this stretch Karl. 👍
The Fleet Marston bends (along with the road straightening on the A418 at Bierton) had already been taken out by the time I moved to Aylesbury. But the old remnants at Fleet always used to pique my interest when I drove past them. Do you happen to know when the road alignment was moved to its current position? I always thought it was back in the 50s or 60s, but have never pinned it down because old maps didn't always get updated as often as they should have been.
So that’s where all my tax has gone to perhaps benefit a small minority.
Fantastic stuff Karl ! Big thanks. The scale of this thing never ceases to amaze me.
Nice one, Karl. Any chance of updating us on the North Portal?
Thanks Karl, as interesting as usual.
