We knew we didn’t want to waste too much time before entering our next country, and since we saw people digging close to the graveyard next to our camping spot, we decided to just start driving as soon as I had my morning dip π. We weren’t far from the border and we soon entered country number 34 for Nala – Estonia πͺπͺ.
I love watching native wild life, so we decided to head towards the Ahja River Valley to explore this new country. Even though we weren’t very lucky when it came to seeing any animals, we still had a beautiful walk around the area π»

Weβre Dean & Nala, and weβve been best friends since December 2018. I was cycling around the world when I heard Nala meowing out for me somewhere in the Bosnian mountains. With no intentions of keeping Nala, I knew i had to save the wee kitten and take her to the vet – but I was well aware of the fact that it might be a bit of a challenge considering I only had a bike. However, despite my concerns, Nala quickly climbed out of the front bag on the bike handle and straight onto my shoulder. Since then, weβve been travelling the world together. Hearing that baby's hilarious laugh at 12:52 made me think that we used to be part of the forest too, when we lived in it, so alongside the sound of birds would have been the sound of babies cackling XD a funny thought. Now we think of ourselves as so separate from other animals.
That forest with the rock formations and the water was stunning! Would love to see it myself sometime.

Wow. I've been wondering about Nala and Dean alot lately. I'm so happy that their still cycling and driving through these beautiful countries. I've been watching them for about 4 years or more. I got really sick with covid so I was in a nursing home and I had my phone then I got really sick with my whole body. My eyes and all. But I'm feeling much better so I'll be seeing this beautiful kitty again. I can't believe how big she's gotten. Dean takes really good care of her. Thank you Dean.
