Looks fine! Does it feel tight? I’ve got a similar helmet with a tightness knob/dial in the back.

I’ve had a similar Van Rysel helmet until recently, and although it didn’t fit badly, it always just looked… small. Like my head was too big for it. I think it’s just a Van Rysel thing. I love most of their stuff but honestly I’m not crazy for their helmets, tried a few of them but ended up giving them all back because other ones just felt and looked better on my head. But hey, they’re like half the price of most big brands so what can you expect.

I’d love a less mushroomy looking helmet. The sole question you have to ask yourself is “is it comfortable”. If so then it’s sized correctly.

Looks good on you. That’s the shape I usually aim for. Maybe it looks small but if it doesn’t feel small, than you’re good. Wouldn’t go for a bigger helmet look, that’s what we’d consider as mushroom look. If you want that, get something else but usually we’re trying not to get that look lol. Also, as a photographer, you took a picture with probably a phones 24mm lens which gives a bit of a distortional look compared to a 50mm lens so don’t go by what it looks in that second picture. Look in the mirror and trust us when we say it looks fine. 😉
