Poland’s Pikulik bags Olympic silver in track cycling omnium 🔥@WDLatestNews
Polish track cyclist Daria Pikulik won an Olympic silver medal in the four-race omnium event at the Paris games on Sunday, in the country’s last chance for a medal at the games.
Prior to an outstanding performance by Pikulik in the omnium, Poland looked like leaving Paris with their lowest haul of medals since the Melbourne games in 1956.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk took to the X platform to congratulate Pikulik on her feat.
