Not only does he jump above 6.25, he also run more than 10 meters per second holding that pole in his hands. Super Mondo

Where are the prudes to complain about his visible junk? ๐
Kudos to the American hyping the crowd. Good example of sportsmanship

Tรผrkiyeden teลekkรผrler Duplantis!
As a Swede, seeing Stade de France completely full with people only to watch this man break the WR again was something else
GOAT pole vaulter!
I like Sam kendricks he is so funny!๐ง๐ท๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
The fact that he does 6.10 as if it was nothing. Just a warm up. It's ridiculous really. For me as a Swede, the world record win, 30 cm Dow to silver medal, might be one of the most incredible performances ever. It shouldn't be possible almost. How high can this dude make it?!
I love his pose at the end! Go Tรผrkei!
Greatest track and field athlete ever after Bolt
He is totally unbelievable! Unreal!!! Such a pleasure to watch. Go, Duplantis!!๐๐
Oh look. It's the guy from Dune.
The Super Swede has no limits.
Him and Tedoglou are THE BEST EVER!๐๐๐โค
Soo airy so light so fabulous on every movement. Very professional ๐ ๐๐. We love watching him.
You can see how much help Mondo gets from Sam Kendricks! By getting the audience started with hand clapping! I think Mondo needs that as an energi! Every time sens 2021 then he broke the worldrecord was Sam dere for him! So hopefully is Sam there for him in the future!
Wow this dude is fantastic!
He makes this seem easy!

He beat the WR 9 times over the years. Does anyone remember what the last WR was, before Mondo started crushing it?
Wow, I'm seeing this game for the first time, and man oh man, this guy got some stunning moves. I was transfixed by his lithe, agile, gracefully swirling body๐คฉ
grattis Sverige!
The moment of the olympic games , i salute you
Duplantis pole vault role model has always been Renaud Lavillenie from France(shown in camera standing next to Duplantis father)and they are very, very good friends. So it was amazing in so many ways for Duplantis to be able to do this on French ground. Thank you France for taking care of our wonderful gem and thank you for being such an amazing host of the olympics. You made the olympic games stand out even more than usuall and fun to watch. Merci merci merci! ๐๐ ๐ธ๐ชโค๏ธ๐ซ๐ท
This guy is just unreal.
The speed, the technique, the assassin mindset ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Sweden not giving prize money for their medal winners.
Duplantis: What's the world record?
HOLD MY BEER
Some people do compare him to Bolt. It's probably younger generations. I think Mondo is even bigger. If I had to compare him, it would be rather to the first athlete that ever got a 10 in hall gymnastics, Nadia Comaneci. I think Mondo is also one of those uber-aces that appear once every 20-30 years in sports, and dominate it completely, till they retire undefeated.
Half Swedish half USA
He is so technical. And he makes it look so easy, simple and clean.
Fan va roligt, grattis Duplantis. Gรถtt att se svenskarna slรฅ rekord ๐
He was born in Louisiana and went to school in Louisiana. Only tie he has to Sweden is his Mother.
I am curious why does he jump for Sweden and not the USA?
Great athlete and great achievenemt and all, but I am just wondering if in the future, after retirement he would ever reflect on the times when he was in his prime and instead of making unbeatable record once using his young legs he decided to cash on the money making 1cm records every competition till he notices he cannot break it again, while 10 years ago he easily would. Not that I would not do the same, but I always thought Olympic motto was โCitius, Altius, Fortiusโ (Faster, Higher, Stronger) and not "Richer, Wealthier, Valuabler".
Sad times I guess.
That's rubbish, I bet he couldn't do it if he didn't have the pole helping him
so he jumps high with that stick… who cares.
